Plot: Recently widowed Doctor Michael Hfuhruhurr, the world's greatest neurosurgeon, injures Dolores Benedict in a car accident. However, Benedict is only interested in Hfuhruhurr's money and Hfuhruhurr still yearns for his previous wife. They travel to Vienna to attend a medical conference where Hfuhruhurr finally divorces Dolores, meets a mysterious Doctor Alfred Necessiter and becomes entangled in a series of murders committed by The Elevator Killer.

Movie Quotes: Girl: Sounds like a subdural hematoma to me.
Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr: Oh, it does, does it? Well, it's not your job to diagnose.
    Girl: But I thought...
Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr: You thought, you thought. Just go. Three years of nursery school and you think you know it all. Well, you're still wet behind the ears. It's not a subdural hematoma. It's *epidural*. Ha.

Crazy Credits: We know about 1 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:
At the end is shown: Merv Griffin did not turn himself in and is at large. If you have any information as to his whereabouts, call your local theatre manager

Goofs: We know about 5 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Continuity: The third time Dr. Hfuhruhurr climbs out of the elevator (when it's too low instead of too high), he has his satchel. A moment later, when he opens the door to his hotel room, the satchel is gone.

Trivia: There are 2 entries in the trivia list - like these:
    • When Steve Martin gets the bottle of window cleaner from the trunk of the car, the brand name is listed on the bottle, too small and too briefly to be seen without pausing the film. If you pause it, you can see that the label says "Pane in the Glass" window cleaner.
    • Steve Martin drops a small note into the trunk of the car and excitedly says that he's gotten Merv Griffin's autograph. The note says, "Best Wishes, Merv Griffin", and it is indeed Griffin's actual autograph.
