Plot Outline: A man is haunted by visions of a beautiful woman. When he finally meets her, he winds up involved in a satanic cult.
Plot: Rick Turner (Robert Alda) is engaged of Donna Trent (Ariadna Welter) and is having nightmares with a beautiful blonde woman dancing in the sky. One night, he is mysteriously driven to a doll shop, and in the next morning he returns to the place with Donna. He finds a doll that resembles his fianc?, but the owner Francis Lamont (Neil Hamilton) delivers another doll to him, with the face of the woman of his dreams, Bianca Milan (Linda Christian). Rick looks for Bianca and is seduced and convinced by her to join a sect that worships the diabolic Camba, while the health of Donna is threatened by Francis and Bianca.

- Louis Armstrong was hired for this movie at Bing Crosbys insistence. Crosby also insisted that Armstrong receive prominent billing, the first time a black actor shared top billing with white actors in a major release film.
- Several cast members in studio records/casting call lists did not appear or were not identifiable in the movie. These were (with their character names): Richard Carle (Mr. Briggs), Eddie Borden (Mr. Bilkins), Maston Williams (Prisoner) and Nick Copeland (Middle-aged Man). Reviews list Tom Ricketts in the role of Mr. Briggs. but he was not seen in movie either.
