Trivia:
In the gas station scene, during the wide shot when Sheriff Pruitt is leaving, a sign for Slusho can be scene above the gas station attendant's booth. Slusho was part of a viral marketing campaign for the movie
Cloverfield, also by J.J. Abrams.
Goofs:
Factual errors:
During the fire scene there are several shots of rolling hills with horses (and other livestock) grazing in pastures. Horses, in particular, have a mortal fear of fire. With the impending fire, horses would have been running amok, neighing, and jumping fence rows to seek safety, not casually grazing.
Quotes:
Martin:
Am I the only one here who doesn't know what we're talking about?
Cary:
Probably, Smartin
Martin:
I don't like it when you call me that
Cary:
I'm sorry, Smartin, let's go cry about it
Crazy Credits:
Charles's completed zombie movie is shown during the closing credits.
